SSLSD Graduation 2024 - Year 13

SSLSD's Senior Class of 2024 celebrated their graduation in grand style on June 21st, 2024, at the Plaza Inn Hotel. The event was attended by the school's board of directors, the principal, vice principals, dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and of course, the stars of the evening—the Year 13 graduates.

The ceremony was a perfect blend of nostalgia, elegance, and entertainment, featuring student and teacher speeches filled with memories from each section of school life. The evening included a touching song, a series of awards, and a moving valedictorian speech by Aathiqa Irfan, who represented the graduating class. A tearful farewell was also bid for Mr. Mohotti Thilakaratne, a beloved and longtime mathematics teacher. 

As the night unfolded, emotions ran high as students bid farewell to their school days, and parents beamed with pride at their children's accomplishments.

- Middle school teacher speech: Mr. Valentine Lazarus

- High school teacher speech: Ms. Angel Edward

- Vote of Thanks : Siluni & Suhara

The event marked a memorable conclusion to the students' academic journey, leaving them with lasting memories of their time at SSLSD.
