Grade 5 - Graduation Ceremony 2023

 A splendid and sophisticated ceremony marked the graduation of 160 students from Grade 5 at the Giwana Ballroom, Radisson Blu Hotel, Doha, on June 18, 2023. The event was graced by the Chairman and Board of Directors, the Principal, the Vice Principal, sectional heads of the school, and parents.

Mrs. Harshine Karunadasa, a versatile Human Resources leader with extensive international experience in the USA and Qatar, served as the chief guest. With over 17 years of expertise in the luxury hotel industry, specializing in Rooms Division, Quality Assurance, Training, and Human Resources, she currently holds the position of Director of Human Resources for Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl Doha. Her presence added a vibrant touch to the occasion.

The guest of honour, Mrs. Tariro Matabiri, a mother and teacher for inclusive children, inspired the students with her words. As a copyright expert at the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization, she handled copyright matters for 13 African countries. A lawyer by profession with an LLB, a Masters in Intellectual Property, and a Diploma in Marketing, Mrs. Matabiri is also a four-time author and an award-winning Toastmaster in Qatar and Botswana. In addition, she serves as the 2023 President of the Pan African Game Changers Organization, inspiring and empowering young women and men in 11 African countries.

To add vibrancy to the evening, students and winners of the junior singing competition and Eloquence 2023 performed singing and dancing items. The dignitaries present at the function presented the certificates to the graduates, symbolizing the conclusion of their primary education and the commencement of a new chapter in middle school.
