The Darkness
The Darkness
When light disappears, darkness rises. Giving hope and faith to its inhabitants, light flooded into the room. But when night emerges, the shadows dance into the bedroom, taking forms of horrible creatures, waiting for their victim. The shadows would come in, climb into the small but comfortable bed while their victims are asleep, and take their souls of faith and hope using their devilish claws. Shadows use the potion and inject it into their veins. Capturing your darkest fears and leaving you paralyzed, the potion would take action and your voice would be voiceless.
Pitch black darkness surrounds the room. Not only is it dangerously calm, but it is also evil. Forming your monsters under the bed and scaring the innocent so they need the assurance of the adult to go back to sleep causes nothing but trouble. Night brings out all these horrors. After all, the darkness steals the basic ability to see and constructs the paranoia which clings us to hope that there are no monsters lurking in the dark. Monstrous evils would use their victim’s own imagination and use it against their will by manipulating them to create these horrible things. There is one thing that can stop this nightmare: the light. Like a knight in shining armour which would slay the beast and rescue the princess, it is a classic fairy-tale cliche. But like many people would say, “Evil never sleeps!”
The darkness can use these strings of fear onto these people. Like puppeteers, we are the puppets, dolls, or toys of its amusement. Darkness are the psychotic kids who would break their toys, except that their toys are the people. Always toying with humans while tormenting them. Using their scalpel to dismember their dolls and masking to masquerade their horrifying, brutal and tragic tragedy, the darkness didn’t let it go. Light is like an adult, taking care of the kid of darkness. It is like the light is a God and the darkness is the Devil. Like rivals, they were always fighting for the upperhand .
Mysterious, evil and a troublemaker: darkness.
